The ranch is located in the southern end of what is known as
the Big Horn Basin. The Basin is bordered by the Big Horn Mountain
range to the east, the Owl Creek Mountains to the south and the
Absaroka Mountain range to the west. The Basin is noted for its
mild and open winters.

The ranch lies in the northwest quadrant of Wyoming
approximately 25 miles northwest of Thremopolis. 
Cody is about 50 miles to the north and Casper is
128 miles to the southeast.
